1. Complete the letter to Santa Claus indicating the real place you would like to go and add 5–6 more things you would also like to see placed under your Christmas tree. Then explain why you’d rather have them.

   Dear Santa,
For Christmas this year I would love to see two plane tickets to … and … placed under my Christmas tree.

Dear Santa,

For Christmas this year I would love to see two plane tickets to Paris and Rome placed under my Christmas tree. I would also like to find a new laptop, headphones, a camera, a bicycle, a good book, and a warm sweater.

I’d rather have these things because they would be really useful and enjoyable. The plane tickets would give me a chance to travel and see new places. The laptop and headphones would help me study and relax. The camera would let me take beautiful photos, the bicycle would be great for outdoor activities, the book would be interesting to read, and the sweater would keep me warm in winter.

Best wishes,
Alex
