I travelled by night, and the journey began at a crowded platform full of excited people. There were many unfamiliar faces around me, but instead of feeling nervous, I felt a strong feeling of adventure. Soon the train started to move, and we began to run through picturesque scenery hidden in the darkness.

My compartment was clean and cosy, so I quickly felt comfortable. The guard was very friendly and warm, and my fellow passengers were pleasant too. We spent time talking and laughing, sharing stories about our lives and our plans. It was easy to forget that we were strangers who might never meet again.

As the train rushed on through the night, I looked out of the window and enjoyed every minute of the trip. It was a pleasant train journey that I would always remember.
