1. Smoking and taking drugs are dangerous because they seriously harm a person’s health and can lead to addiction and illness.
2. Some companies do not give work to smokers because smoking can reduce efficiency, cause more sick days and create extra costs for employers.
3. Smoking is not allowed in plenty of public places because it is harmful to other people’s health and makes the air unhealthy.
4. Nowadays people rely on physical labour less than in the past because machines and modern technology do much of the work.
5. People of the twenty-first century need more exercise because they move less in everyday life and often have a sedentary lifestyle.
6. The proverb “Health is better than wealth” is becoming very topical now because people understand more clearly that good health is more important than money.
