B: That’s all right. But please don’t do it again.

A: I owe you an apology. I promised to visit you, but I didn’t keep my word.
B: It’s all right. Just be more careful next time.

A: I’m sorry I told you that you were stupid. I said it without thinking.
B: I forgive you, but please don’t say such things again.

A: I must apologize for forgetting your birthday, Granddad.
B: Never mind. I know you didn’t mean to hurt me.
