1. Why hasn’t Jason come to school? — I think he is coming down with a cold.
2. Did you have a nice time last Saturday? — I did. That was an excellent party we had then.
3. I’d love to go to America. — No wonder. It’s a very interesting country. — Have you been there? — Yes, I was there 3 years ago.
4. Do you often come to this disco? — No, this is the first time I have come here.
5. I really love this cake. It’s the nicest cake I have ever had.
6. Have you been to France? — Yes, I have. I was there twice. — Did you like it? — Yes, it was super!
7. They don’t have a car any longer. They have sold it. They sold it the other day.
8. Go and wash your face and hands. — But I have already washed them. — Sorry, your face is still dirty.
9. Have you done the shopping? Have you bought everything? — No, I’m sorry. I forgot to take the shopping list.
10. Have you eaten all the sandwiches? — Yes. I was so hungry!
