I would like to tell you a few words about these pictures.
In the first picture, a group of young people is playing football outdoors. In the second one, a girl is reading a book in a quiet room. So, the pictures show different pastimes.
The pictures have some things in common. They both show teenagers spending their free time. Also, both activities are enjoyable and useful in their own way.
And yet I can trace some differences. The first picture shows an active team sport, while the second one presents a quiet individual activity. The first pastime is done outside, whereas the second one takes place indoors.
I’d prefer reading a book.
I prefer it because it helps me relax and learn new things. Besides, it is a good way to spend time quietly and usefully.
