I’d like to write about an important event in my family — my grandparents’ golden wedding anniversary.
Last summer our whole family gathered to celebrate this special day. My grandparents had been married for fifty years, and everyone wanted to make the celebration unforgettable. We decorated the house with flowers and balloons, prepared a big dinner and invited our closest relatives and friends.
The most touching moment was when my grandfather gave my grandmother a bouquet of white roses and thanked her for all those happy years together. Then my parents showed a photo presentation with old family pictures, and we all laughed and remembered many wonderful moments from the past.
After dinner we danced, sang songs and took a lot of photos. My grandparents were very happy, and so was everybody else. It was a warm and joyful family celebration that I will never forget.
