I support Mrs Weston’s position more.

She is right because children should have more freedom and trust. If parents control every step, teenagers may become dependent and less confident. Mrs Weston understands that young people need to make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes.

Besides, strict rules often cause arguments in the family. When parents listen to their children and respect their opinions, relationships become better and more open. That is why Mrs Weston’s point of view seems more reasonable to me.
