1 What were your relatives called?
2 When and where were they born?
3 What did they do for a living?
4 How have wars, conflicts and historical events affected your family history?
5 Did your ancestors move from place to place? Why?
6 Are there any family legends in the family? Tell some of them if you like.

My family research showed that my relatives had interesting lives. My great-grandfather was called Ivan Petrov. He was born in 1920 in a small village near Tula. He worked as a teacher for many years. During the war he had to leave his home and later returned to rebuild it.

My grandmother was born in 1950 in Moscow. She worked as a doctor. My grandfather was born in 1948 in the same city. He was an engineer.

Wars and historical events affected my family a lot. Some relatives had to move to other places because of work and difficult times. My family also has a legend about a brave ancestor who saved his village during a flood.

It was interesting to learn more about my family history.
