Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the summer language and culture programme in London. I would like to participate in this programme because I want to improve my English and learn more about British life and traditions.

I believe I would benefit from it greatly. First, I will have a chance to practise speaking English every day, which will help me become more confident. Second, I will learn how to communicate with people from different countries and work in a team.

As for myself, I am a responsible, friendly and hard-working person. I enjoy studying foreign languages, reading and meeting new people. I am also good at adapting to new situations and I always try to do my best.
