1. Work in groups. Make a list of the things you use every day. Then answer the following questions:
   • How long have you had these things?
   • Which of the things are most important to you?
   • Which of the things could you do without?

Example answer:

I use my phone, my schoolbag, my notebook, my pen, my headphones and my laptop every day.

I have had my phone for two years, my schoolbag for one year, my notebook and pen for several months, my headphones for about a year, and my laptop for three years.

The most important things to me are my phone, my schoolbag and my laptop because I need them for communication, study and homework.

I could do without my headphones and, sometimes, my notebook, because I can use other things instead.
