Work in pairs. Use the phrases from Ex. 48 to write short dialogues and act out the following situations. Let your classmates guess which situation you have acted out.

Your friend is upset about his / her exam results.
You want your dad to allow you to use his car tonight.
Your younger brother keeps talking loudly in the cinema.
A friend of yours is going to step into a hole in the street. He / She can’t see it but you can.
A friend of yours invites you to the cinema. He wants to know how you feel about action films.
