Your flat: You live in a flat not far from the city centre. The flat is quite large: three bedrooms, a big living room and a kitchen. Dear Mr and Mrs Johns,

We are writing to you because we are interested in exchanging homes for our summer holiday. Your traditional three-bedroom cottage seems to be the most suitable for our family.

Our flat is not far from the city centre. It is quite large and has three bedrooms, a big living room and a kitchen. The flat has all modern conveniences, and there is a very nice view of the city from the balcony. The city is popular with tourists in summer, so there are many places to see and enjoy.

We are a family of five, so we need enough space for everyone. Our twins are six years old, so a separate room for them would be ideal. We also like independence and do not want to share a room. My mother does not like chilly bedrooms, so we hope your cottage is warm and has hot water. My grandmother sleeps with the windows open, so a quiet place would be important for her. It would also be great if there were swings or a playground nearby for the children.

Could you please tell us if your cottage has a garden and whether it is close to the coast? Is there a veranda or another place where one person can sleep if necessary? Are there any mosquitoes at night?
