What career to choose? What to do when school is over? Is it me who makes the decision or my parents? When you leave school, you should decide what to do and what career to choose. You should do it yourself. There’s no point in listening to your parents’ advice. It’s safer to rely on your parents, as they know life better. Do what they tell you to do. Don’t ignore your parents’ opinion. Their advice could be very helpful, but you should make the final decision yourself.

I agree with the opinion that teenagers should make the final decision themselves, but they should also listen to their parents’ advice.

When school is over, a teenager should think carefully about his or her future and choose a career independently. Parents usually have more life experience, so their advice can be very helpful. However, only teenagers know their own interests, abilities and dreams best.

That is why I think teenagers should not simply follow their parents’ orders. They should discuss their plans with their family, listen to different opinions and then make their own choice.
