In the place where I live, the most irritating public behaviour is littering. Some people throw rubbish on the street, in parks, or near bus stops because they are lazy and do not think about other people. They may also believe that someone else will clean it up.

To change this, people should be taught to respect public places from an early age. There should also be more rubbish bins, and the fines for littering should be stricter. If everyone understood that a clean town is the responsibility of all citizens, the situation would improve.
