David’s love story probably started as a friendship. They may have known each other for a long time and used to be friends before they fell in love. Then something must have happened between them, and their relationship changed. David should talk to her and try to understand what went wrong. He could also be more honest about his feelings. He should have told her about his love earlier and could have tried to save their relationship. David is sad because he has lost the girl he loves and misses the time they spent together.
