Попробуйте оправдать свой выбор одежды перед вашим другом. Приведите свои аргументы. Дайте свои объяснения и больше причин. Попросите совета. Примите или отклоните рекомендации вашего друга, приводя свои причины. Поблагодарите своего друга.
Студент B
Вы видите, что ваш друг решил одеться совершенно неподходящим образом в школу сегодня. Выразите свою точку зрения по этому вопросу. Попросите своего друга подробнее объяснить его/её позицию и положение по поводу школьной одежды. Выразите ваше понимание, но укажите на недостатки. Дайте ваши советы по поводу выбора вашего друга.
Student A: I’m going to wear my new ripped jeans, a bright crop top and a baseball cap to school today. What do you think?
Student B: I don’t think that is appropriate for school. The clothes are too casual and revealing.
Student A: I understand, but I like this outfit. It is fashionable, comfortable and shows my personality. Besides, I’m meeting my friends after school, so I don’t want to change.
Student B: Could you explain why you think this outfit is suitable for school?
Student A: I think students should be free to choose what they wear. We don’t have a strict uniform, and many teenagers dress like this.
Student B: I agree that students should have some freedom, but school clothes should be neat and modest. Your outfit may distract other students and make a bad impression on the teachers.
Student A: That’s a good point. What would you advise me to wear?
Student B: You could wear the jeans with a simple T-shirt and a jacket. Leave the crop top and the cap at home.
Student A: I’ll take your advice. I’ll wear a T-shirt and a jacket instead. Thanks for helping me!
Student B: You’re welcome. I’m glad you asked me.
