I think Marshall McLuhan is right. He said that the medium itself influences the way we think and live, and this is true today. People spend a lot of time on the Internet, social networks, and smartphones, so these media change our habits, communication, and even our attention span.

Irma is also partly right because media can be useful and informative. However, they do not just give us information — they also shape our opinions and behaviour. That is why McLuhan’s idea is more convincing.
