Essay

Nowadays computers are used in almost every school. However, some parents and teachers think that children spend too much time in front of screens, so they suggest banning computers in school. In my opinion, this proposal is not a good idea.

First of all, computers are an important part of modern education. They help students find information quickly, do research and prepare presentations. Many subjects, such as IT, science and foreign languages, become more interesting and effective with the help of computers.

Secondly, computer skills are necessary for future life and work. If schoolchildren are not allowed to use computers at school, they may fall behind in a world where technology is everywhere. Instead of banning computers, schools should teach children how to use them wisely and safely.

Of course, too much computer use can be harmful. Students may get tired, lose concentration or spend too much time playing games. But the solution is not a ban. Teachers and parents should control the amount of time children spend on computers and choose educational programs.

To sum up, I strongly disagree with the idea of banning computers in school. Computers are useful learning tools, and students should learn to use them properly rather than be deprived of them.
