It was a cold winter evening. A little boy was walking home through the park when he saw a small dog sitting under a bench. The dog looked hungry and frightened, so the boy came closer and gave it some food from his bag.

Then the dog followed him all the way home. When the boy opened the door, his mother was surprised to see the dog, but she let it stay for the night. After that, the boy and the dog became best friends.

In the end, the boy was happy because he had helped the dog, and the dog had found a kind owner.
