Surprise!
When i woke up that summer morning, I had absolutely no plans. It was a long, boring holiday. I had nothing to look forward to, so I thought I’d just spend the day watching TV or playing on my computer.
‘Good morning,’ said my mother, and I thought I saw a funny look on her face. «Get ready, because we’re leaving in less than an hour? we’re going to Paris for the weekend!’ At first, I thought she was joking. But when she showed me the tickets and my bags, and the vouchers for the hotel, l could not believe my eyes!
‘Well,’ she said, ‘it’s your birthday tomorrow and you really want to go to Disneyland Paris. So I thought I’d surprise you.’
She certainly did! And that birthday was probably the best in my life so far.
Story 2
None of my friends called to say happy birthday, and even my pare
didn’t say anything all day. So I went for a walk on my own in the afternoon ana
didn’t make any plans for the evening. I got back home, it was very quiet, i thoi
everyone was out and I was alone. But tia minute later, all the lights went on, an
my friends and family were singing, ‘nap birthday to you’. That’s why no one said
anything all day. They wanted to give me surprise party. And they managed, it was
surprise. And it was also the best birthday party!

A surprise holiday
Last summer I had a wonderful surprise holiday. I thought I was going to spend the weekend at home, because my parents said nothing about any plans. I was a little disappointed and decided to stay in and watch TV.
Then, in the evening, my mum told me to pack my bag quickly. We were going to the seaside for three days! I was so excited that I could hardly believe it. We went there by car with my younger sister, and on the way we sang songs and laughed a lot.
At the seaside we swam, played on the beach and ate ice cream every day. It was warm and sunny, and I had a fantastic time. In the end, I was really happy because it was the best holiday I had ever had.
