Older people often think that young people are bad and violent because they usually see only the negative news about teenagers. Some young people really behave badly, and this creates a bad image for the whole generation. Also, adults and teenagers often do not understand each other, because they have different values, interests and ways of life. As a result, older people may judge young people too strictly.
