On the one hand, technology helps people stay in touch. Thanks to smartphones, social networks and messengers, family members can communicate even if they live far away from each other. Friends can share photos, news and feelings in a second. Technology also makes it easier to organise family life: we can make shopping lists, plan trips and find useful information quickly. In this way, it saves time and brings people closer.
On the other hand, technology can sometimes harm real relationships. Many people spend too much time on their phones or computers and pay less attention to the people around them. Family members may sit in the same room but talk very little because everyone is busy with a screen. Friends may prefer online communication to face-to-face meetings, and this can make relationships less warm and personal.
In conclusion, technology is useful and necessary, but we should use it wisely. It can help families and friends communicate better, but it should not replace real human contact. Balance is the key to keeping relationships strong and healthy.
