Role play. You and your friend are choosing a holiday job. Discuss all the jobs (ex. 1) and choose one you both would like to take. Remember to find out your friend’s attitude; give your attitude (saying you’re unwilling to do something or you are not interested).

Sample dialogue:

A: What holiday jobs are you interested in?

B: I’d like to try working in a café. It sounds interesting.

A: I’m not very interested in that. I’m unwilling to work indoors all day.

B: Then what about being a camp counsellor?

A: That sounds better. I’d enjoy working with children.

B: Me too. I’m interested in outdoor activities, and I’m not keen on office work.

A: Great! So we both would like to take the camp counsellor job.
