Упр.4 Юнит 1 Урок 3 ГДЗ English Кузовлев 10 класс

1. Talk about natural disasters in your country. Answer the following questions, relating information to personal experience:
   • What kind of weather events/natural disasters happen in your country/region?
   • When was the last one?
   • What help was organised to the damaged areas and injured people?

In my country, different natural disasters happen from time to time. In my region, the most common ones are floods, strong storms and heavy snowfalls. The last flood happened last spring after several days of heavy rain.

After the disaster, rescue teams were sent to the damaged areas. People were evacuated from dangerous places, and injured people were taken to hospital. Volunteers brought food, water, clothes and blankets to those who needed help. The government also organised repairs and financial support for the affected families.
