I’d like to convince you to buy a vacuum cleaner. It is very useful in a student hostel because it helps us clean the room quickly and easily. With a vacuum cleaner, we can remove dust, crumbs and dirt from the floor, carpets and furniture much better than with a broom.
This invention has changed people’s lives a lot. Before vacuum cleaners, cleaning took much more time and effort. Now people can keep their homes clean faster and spend more time on study, work or rest. It also helps make the air in the room cleaner, which is important for our health.
So, I think a vacuum cleaner is a practical and necessary thing for every hostel.
2) Role-play
Student 1: I think we should buy a dishwasher. It will save us a lot of time, because we won’t have to wash the dishes by hand after every meal.
