1) The three authors suggested these stereotypes:

• Americans are often thought to be open, friendly, self-confident and practical.
• Russians are often seen as serious, reserved, hospitable and strong-minded.
• The British are usually described as polite, reserved, calm and a little conservative.

2) In my opinion, Americans, Russians and the British are both different and alike. They may have different traditions, manners and ways of behaving, but all of them can be friendly, hardworking and kind. Stereotypes are not always true, because every person is individual.
