Dear John,

Thanks for your letter. You asked me about youth organisations in my school and in my home town. At school we have a volunteer club and a sports club. In my home town there is also a youth centre where teenagers can join different groups.

These organisations help young people to be active and useful. Volunteers take part in clean-up days, visit elderly people and help with school events. The sports club organises competitions and training sessions.

I take part in the volunteer club. I like helping other people and spending time with my classmates.
