You can respond to the complaint in different ways.

1. To show that you agree with the complaint, you can say:

   I agree with you. / You’re right. / Yes, that’s true.

   To show that you disagree, you can say:

   I don’t agree with you. / I don’t think so. / I’m afraid I disagree.

2. To respond to your foreign teacher’s complaint, you should be polite and respectful:

   I’m sorry, I understand your complaint. / You’re right, I’ll try to do better.

   To respond to your foreign friend’s complaint, you can be more informal:

   Sorry about that. / I see your point. / I’ll fix it.
