Cinema combines different arts. That’s why people of different professions are involved in film making. Who are these people? (AB Unit 6, ex. 2)

These are the people involved in film making:

• director — the person who tells the actors what to do and controls the making of the film
• producer — the person who organizes and finances the film
• screenwriter — the person who writes the script
• cameraman — the person who operates the camera
• sound engineer — the person who records and works with sound
• make-up artist — the person who does the actors’ make-up
• costume designer — the person who designs clothes for the characters
• editor — the person who cuts and puts the film together
• actor / actress — the person who plays a role in the film
