In Britain, medical care is provided by the NHS (the National Health Service). Most treatment is free at the point of use, and people usually pay only for some medicines or dental care.

In the USA, the medical system is mostly private. People usually have to pay for doctor’s visits, treatment and medicines, often through health insurance. Medical care can be very expensive.

In Russia, medical care is provided by the state and is free for citizens in many cases. People can get help in polyclinics and hospitals, but some services and medicines may be paid.

All three countries have doctors, hospitals and emergency services, but the systems are different. Britain has a public system, the USA has a mainly private one, and Russia has a state-run system with both free and paid services.
