How do you decide what after-school activity to choose? Do your parents influence your choice? What do your parents do in their spare time? (relating information to personal experience)

I usually choose an after-school activity by thinking about what I enjoy and what will help me develop my skills. My parents do influence my choice, but they do not decide for me. They give me advice and support me if they think the activity is useful or interesting.

In their spare time, my parents usually relax, read, watch TV, or do some housework. Sometimes they go for a walk or meet their friends.
