IV. SPEAKING
The photos on p. 181 are from your photo album. Choose one photo to describe to your friend. You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences).
In your talk remember to speak about:
- where and when you took the photo;
- what/who is in the photo;
- what is happening;
- why you keep the photo in your album;
- why you decided to show the photo to your friend.
You have to talk continuously, starting with “I’ve chosen
I’ve chosen this photo because it is very special to me. I took it last summer when my family and I were on holiday by the sea. In the photo you can see my parents, my younger sister and me standing near the water. We are smiling and looking very happy because we had just finished swimming and were going to have a picnic. The weather was warm and sunny, and the sea was calm. I keep this photo in my album because it reminds me of a wonderful day and our family trip. I decided to show it to you because I want to share my happy memories with you. This photo always makes me feel cheerful and brings back pleasant feelings.
