Подробный ответ

Nowadays many teenagers choose a risky lifestyle, and this may lead to serious and even dangerous consequences. In my opinion, this statement is true.

First of all, teenagers often do not think about the results of their actions. They may try smoking, alcohol or extreme activities just to look older or to impress their friends. Secondly, a risky lifestyle can seriously damage health and even ruin a young person’s future. For example, bad habits may cause illness, poor school results and conflicts with parents and teachers. Finally, dangerous behaviour often leads to accidents, injuries or other problems that are difficult to solve.

However, some people believe that risk is a natural part of growing up. They say that teenagers need new experiences and freedom to learn independence. Besides, a little risk can help young people become more confident and stronger.

I cannot agree with this opinion completely. Of course, some experience is useful, but it should be safe and reasonable. Teenagers do not need to put their health or life in danger in order to become mature. There are many better ways to develop confidence, such as sport, travel, hobbies and communication.

To sum up, I strongly believe that a risky lifestyle is dangerous for teenagers. It may bring short-term excitement, but the possible consequences are much more serious.
