V. WRITING

Write an essay “Is your hometown a nice place to live in?” (200—250 words).

My hometown is a nice place to live in, and I am proud of it. It is not a very big city, but it has everything people need for a comfortable life.

First of all, there are many green parks, clean streets and quiet neighbourhoods. People can walk, ride bikes and relax in the fresh air. There are also schools, shops, a hospital, a library and a sports centre, so life here is convenient.

Another advantage is that the people are friendly and helpful. Neighbours know each other and are always ready to support one another. This makes the town feel safe and warm.

Of course, there are some problems too. Sometimes the transport is not very good, and there are not enough places for young people to spend their free time. However, these problems are not serious, and the town is improving every year.

In my opinion, my hometown is a nice place to live in because it is peaceful, comfortable and full of kind people. I would not like to live anywhere else.
