Hazel and Fiver managed to survive because they were quick, clever and brave. They found a safe place to hide, got food and water, and waited until the danger passed. Then they returned to the others and helped them escape. Together, the rabbits found a new home far away from people and machines, where they could live in peace.

Animals’ natural habitats are being destroyed by cutting down forests, building roads and houses, pollution and climate change. This is a very serious problem because many animals lose their homes, food and safety. In the place where I live, the problem is also serious: there are fewer wild areas, and some animals and birds have less space to live. People should protect nature, plant trees and keep the environment clean.
