The story of the Nativity is told in the Bible. Mary and Joseph travelled from Nazareth to Bethlehem for a census. When they arrived, there were no empty rooms at the inn, so they had to stay in a stable. There Jesus Christ was born and laid in a manger.

Then a bright star appeared in the sky — the Star of Bethlehem. An angel told the shepherds about the baby Jesus and asked them to go to the stable to worship the Saviour.
