It is a hot summer day in the country. The sun is blazing in the cloudless sky, and the air is still and heavy. The grass looks dry and yellow, and the flowers are drooping in the heat. Even the leaves on the trees seem tired and motionless. There is no cool breeze, only the dusty road and the bright, burning light everywhere.
