Happiness is a very personal and difficult thing to define. I partly agree with the statement that no one can define happiness, because what makes one person happy may not matter to another. For some people, happiness means success, money or a good career, while for others it is family, health, love or peace of mind.

I also agree that people often understand happiness better after unhappy moments. When everything is going well, we do not always appreciate simple things. But after difficulties, we begin to value support, kindness and calm everyday life more deeply. In this sense, unhappiness can help us understand what happiness really is.

However, I do not think that a person must be unhappy in order to understand happiness. We can learn to appreciate it by observing other people, thinking about our own life and being grateful for what we have.

So, happiness cannot be defined in one universal way, and unhappy experiences may help us understand it better, but they are not the only way to do so.
