Dear Dave,
How are you? I’m having trouble finding a job at the moment. I’ve been unemployed for six months and there aren’t many good career opportunities available. I must have spent too much time studying at school because I’m overqualified for most of the jobs advertised.
I’m not asking for much, just a certain amount of job satisfaction — the kind you get from a large salary, a spacious office and frequent business trips where the company pays for me to stay in a luxurious hotel!
Oh well. I’ll just have to keep looking!
Hope you’re OK.
