Before handing in your story, check that it has:
- an introduction, a main body and a conclusion;
- clear paragraphs;
- a good beginning and ending;
- a clear sequence of events;
- the correct tenses;
- linking words;
- a variety of adjectives, adverbs and strong verbs;
- no spelling or grammar mistakes;
- correct punctuation.
