Organic farmer: Hi! I’ve heard you’re thinking about changing the way you farm.

Conventional farmer: Yes, but I’m not sure organic farming is practical.

Organic farmer: It can be practical and profitable. Organic farming protects the soil, water, and wildlife.

Conventional farmer: But won’t I get lower yields?

Organic farmer: At first, maybe a little. But in the long run, healthy soil gives better results. Also, people are willing to pay more for organic food.

Conventional farmer: That sounds interesting, but it must be difficult to stop using chemicals.

Organic farmer: You can use natural methods instead, like crop rotation, compost, and biological pest control.

Conventional farmer: I like the idea of helping the environment, but I’m worried about the costs.

Organic farmer: Some changes do cost money, but you can save on chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Besides, organic farming is better for people’s health.

Conventional farmer: You’ve given me a lot to think about. Maybe I should try organic farming.

Organic farmer: I think that’s a great idea. It’s a good step for your farm and for the planet.
