Story
I’d like to tell you about the author’s journey to Nepal. First, she arrived in Kathmandu after a delayed flight. She saw street vendors, beggars and a barber working in the street. Then she visited the Monkey Temple, where she saw hundreds of monkeys and climbed many steps. She was amazed by the breathtaking view of the snowy Himalayas.
Next, she went trekking in the Himalayas. She travelled by a small plane, camped in Phakding, tried local food and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. She also met some very friendly local boys.
After that, she visited Bhaktapur during the Bisket Jatra festival. She watched a traditional tug-of-war, a parade and a candlelit procession. She visited several temples and bought pottery and drums.
The journey was unforgettable and full of adventures. The author loved the experience, although it was sometimes tiring, and she was happy to return home for some rest.
