Recycling is very important because it helps save natural resources, reduce pollution and protect the environment. Many things can be recycled: paper, cardboard, glass, metal cans, plastic bottles and some types of electronics. In some places, people can also recycle batteries, clothes and old furniture.

To recycle properly, we should sort waste into different bins and make sure items are clean and dry. Recycling helps turn old materials into new products, so less rubbish goes to landfill.
