Interviewer: Good morning. Please, have a seat. Could you tell me a little about yourself?

Applicant: Good morning. My name is Alex Brown. I’m 16 years old and I’m a student at Greenfield School. I’m friendly, responsible and hardworking.

Interviewer: Why do you want this part-time job?

Applicant: I’d like to work as a shop assistant because I enjoy helping people and I want to gain work experience.

Interviewer: Do you have any experience in this kind of work?

Applicant: Not yet, but I learn quickly and I’m good at working with people.

Interviewer: What are your strengths?

Applicant: I’m polite, reliable and organised. I can stay calm in busy situations.

Interviewer: When can you work?

Applicant: I can work after school and at weekends.

Interviewer: Thank you. We’ll contact you soon.
