Sample answer:

I like reading novels and short stories. My favourite writers are Charles Dickens and J. K. Rowling. Dickens wrote about ordinary people and social problems, while Rowling created a magical world that is very exciting.

My favourite character is Harry Potter because he is brave, kind and loyal. I also like Sherlock Holmes because he is clever and can solve difficult mysteries.
