The diagram shows the “conveyor belt of life” in Britain. It illustrates the main stages of a person’s life: nursery school at the age of 4, school and university years, starting work, marriage, divorce, retirement and death. It also gives some statistics, for example, many 35-year-olds are in debt, and the average graduate starts with a salary of about £18,175 a year.
In my opinion, this situation is only partly true for Russia. Some stages are similar: children go to nursery school, then to school and university, and later start working, marry and retire. However, the exact ages and numbers are different. For example, not all Russian students get into debt at university, and the average age for marriage, divorce and retirement may also differ. So, the general idea is the same, but the details are not identical.
