- I think British traditions are more interesting. For example, the Changing of the Guard is a very famous and colourful ceremony.
- I like Russian traditions, especially New Year and Maslenitsa. I keep them by celebrating them with my family and friends.
- People keep their own traditions because they help preserve history, culture, and national identity. I don’t think this will change completely, because traditions are important for every nation.
- Yes, many countries celebrate New Year and weddings. I would like to introduce more international traditions connected with peace, friendship, and cultural exchange.

A: Hello! I’m from Russia. We have many interesting traditions. For example, we celebrate New Year with a big family dinner and presents.
B: That sounds nice! I’m from Britain. One of our traditions is afternoon tea. People drink tea and eat sandwiches or cakes.
A: It’s very different from our traditions, but also very pleasant. Do you have any special holidays?
B: Yes, we celebrate Christmas and Bonfire Night. People enjoy these holidays with their families and friends.
A: In Russia, we also like to spend holidays together. Traditions help us feel close to our family and our country.
B: I agree. It is interesting to learn about traditions from other cultures.
