B. Make up a dialogue. Tell each other about the jobs of your choice. Say what your reasons for choosing or not choosing a job are.
Example: A: What kind of job would you like to do when you leave school?
B: I haven’t decided yet but I’m thinking of being a musician.
A: A musician? That’s great! But don’t you think this job requires a lot of work if you want to achieve good results?
B: It’s true. On the other hand, this job is very creative, it gives you some independence and a chance to travel and see the world. Music is my life so I think it may be a good job for me. And you?…

A: What kind of job would you like to do when you leave school?

B: I haven’t decided yet, but I’m thinking of becoming a doctor.

A: A doctor? That’s a very prestigious job. But it’s also very responsible and difficult, isn’t it?

B: Yes, it is. Doctors need a university education and must work hard. On the other hand, this job is well paid and helps people.

A: That’s true. Do you think you would like to work with people every day?

B: Yes, I think so. I like helping others, so this job may be a good choice for me. And you?

A: I’d like to be an engineer. It’s an interesting job, and I like working with my hands and solving problems.

B: Sounds good. It seems like a useful and respected profession.
