Imagine that you have taken these photos yourself. Choose one of them to show to your friends and comment on it. Mention the following:
- when you took the snapshot;
- what and who you can see in it and where exactly (in its centre/on the left-hand side/on the right-hand side/in the background/in the foreground);
- what is happening in the picture;
- why you took the photo;
- why you decided to show the picture to your friends.
You will have to speak for about two minutes (12–15 phrases). Speak continuously, start with “I’ve chosen photo number…”.
I’ve chosen photo number 1.
I took this snapshot last summer when I was on holiday by the sea. In the centre of the picture, you can see a group of my friends and me. On the left-hand side there is a small café, and in the background you can see the blue sea and the bright sky. In the foreground there are some beach chairs and a ball.
We are having a great time together. Some of us are sitting and talking, while others are playing on the beach. Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I took this photo because I wanted to keep a memory of our holiday and our fun day at the seaside.
I decided to show this picture to my friends because it reminds us of a wonderful time we spent together. I think it is a very cheerful and lively photo, and it always makes me smile.
